In her capacity as President of REFELA (Network of Locally Elected Women of Africa), Her Worship engaged in high-level discussions with Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a visionary leader renowned for her dedication to philanthropy and the advancement of women.
The highlight of this historic mission was an audience with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, a global statesman and strong advocate for Africaโs transformation.
Their discussions centered on strategic partnerships for economic empowerment, skills development, and sustainable growth for women and youth across Africa beginning right here in The Gambia.
