From the historic city of Es-Semara, Morocco, the Banjul City Council has officially signed a Twinning Partnership with the Es-Semara City Council, establishing a bridge of collaboration, culture, and shared progress.
This landmark agreement marks the dawn of a strategic alliance built on mutual respect and development โ with focus areas that speak directly to the heart of our communities:
The ceremony also witnessed the twinning of Brikama Area Council with the Municipality of Amgala, further reinforcing The Gambiaโs growing diplomatic and development footprint on the global stage.
This milestone reflects Banjulโs rising role as a city open to collaboration, learning, and leadership in international development.
